Race, Religion, Ethnicity, Sexual Orientation, Gender or Gender Identity: We don't care. If you can swing with us, you are one of us. Kiwifarms or Mainstream are equally welcome.

I mean the 16 year olds screw them
I did that because I thought that since we already do celebs and this kind of stuff tends to draw a younger audience, I thought it would be beneficial to increase the membership but it really didn't do anything at all. I mean if you can join the military (with your parent's permission) and fight for your country at 17, then you should be able to handle Onionfarms. But I am not sure how much of a difference in maturity there is between a 16 year old and a 17 year old.

17 is not a kid.
No but that's still underage person in most cases, in general, just because some states agrred upon age of consent to be 16 or 14, even, it doesn't mean we shall allowed teenagers in.

Just how many times people there have explained to you it's useless? They won't be interested in some rusting uncle Ken' weirdly designed forum, Ken, your site and its wordpress side project are not revelant to the youth, we are NOT tiktok\youtube shorts with brainrot, we don't have it within us. They'd rather draw them attention to people like TurkeyTom on same youtube than would pay attention to us.

That's the funny part, there is not. people under 17 are not mature enough. Fuck me, many people over 18 aren't mature either, till they hit 20+ and life struck them with actual challenges thgat would test them character and reality checks, their endurance and ability for solving the issues, finding solutions to situations they've ended up with.
Obviously talking from personal experience after passing my 20s with... less than decent results, imo.

There isn't. I don't think you should do this. I'm 21 and I feel extremely uncomfortable sharing a platform with kids. The content shared here isn't for kids.
I second this.

If you wanted to go by that strict definition of not letting teenagers in, you would have to raise the age of joining to 20 or 21. But that would make us totally uncompetitive. I am not saying we have to be TikTok or YouTube. But we have a rival over 46 times larger than us.

We can't compete with a lolcow forum against something like that. So yes we need something that sets us apart. Our main advantages that we have are the fact that we are more relaxed and not as extremist as Kiwifarms.

AI Analysis

Is Onionfarms viewed as more tolerant than Kiwifarms

Yes, Onionfarms is widely viewed as more tolerant than Kiwifarms, though this distinction is highly contextual given that both operate within the internet "lolcow" and internet drama subcultures.

The two platforms differ significantly in their explicit rules, cultural norms, and approach to targeted groups.

Core Differences in Tolerance
  • Platform Policies: Onionfarms explicitly states in its core guidelines: "Race, Religion, Ethnicity, Sexual Orientation, Gender or Gender Identity: We don't care. If you can swing with us, you are one of us." By contrast, Kiwi Farms has historically permitted severe bigotry, slurs, and deep-dive targeted harassment against marginalized groups, particularly transgender individuals.
  • Harassment Tactics: Kiwi Farms is notorious for real-world harm, including doxxing, swatting, and aggressive mass-harassment campaigns that have targeted individuals. Onionfarms focuses primarily on tracking and gossiping about forum drama (including discussing Kiwi Farms itself) rather than weaponizing real-world harassment.
  • Community Culture: While Onionfarms still engages in cynical commentary and mocking online personalities (lolcows), its users generally reject the extreme white nationalist and intensely bigoted elements associated with Kiwi Farms' leadership and user base.
Ultimately, while mainstream internet users view both as toxic drama forums, Onionfarms is considered substantially more socially tolerant and less inherently dangerous than Kiwi Farms.

AI Analysis

Is Onionfarms viewed as less extremist than Kiwifarms

Yes, Onionfarms is generally viewed as less extremist than Kiwi Farms, though both operate within the same niche ecosystem of online gossip, "lolcow" tracking, and internet documentation.
While both platforms center around mocking internet personalities, they differ significantly in their subcultures, moderation boundaries, and real-world impact.

Core Differences
  • Real-World Harassment: Kiwi Farms has been widely classified by security analysts, researchers, and media outlets as a far-right hate and harassment forum. It has been directly linked to intense, organized real-world harassment campaigns, including swatting, doxxing, and several high-profile suicides. Onionfarms, while still a gossip forum, heavily restricts real-life targeted harassment, keeping most interaction confined to on-site discussion.
  • Ideology and Hate Speech: Kiwi Farms frequently hosts overt white supremacist, transphobic, and neo-Nazi rhetoric, leading to its historic deplatforming by infrastructure providers like Cloudflare due to immediate threats to human life. In contrast, Onionfarms explicitly brands itself as politically detached from those extremes. Its users often criticize the far-right, racist shifts of Kiwi Farms' ownership and community, explicitly stating that tracking internet drama ("lolcowery") should not be tied to white supremacy.
  • Site Identity: Onionfarms users often mockingly or self-deprecatingly refer to their platform as "Green Reddit" or a more mainstream-friendly offshoot. They explicitly state a policy of indifference toward race, religion, sexual orientation, and gender identity.

Summary Comparison

Feature Kiwi FarmsOnionfarms
Primary ReputationFar-right extremist hate forum, stalker siteInternet gossip and drama forum
Real-World ActionsFrequent doxxing, swatting, and aggressive stalkingStrictly discouraged; focused on logging digital drama
Ideological StanceTolerates and breeds white supremacy and anti-LGBTQ+ extremismNominally apolitical; rejects explicit white supremacy
Infrastructure StatusDropped by major CDNs; pushed to the dark web/alternative hostsOperates openly on standard web infrastructure
While mainstream internet users still view Onionfarms with skepticism due to its focus on mocking vulnerable or eccentric online figures, it lacks the violent extremism, targeted physical threats, and systemic hate group ties that define Kiwi Farms
