Either Jersh got a subpoena from some kind of American law enforcement agency (probably something to do with the alleged threats to vandalize his dead brother's grave) or Jersh just got annoyed by this and wants people to stop digging into his degenerate past on Blockland (because people like Chibi Reviews have brought attention to Jersh's Blockland history).

I'll admit, I'm surprised by this too.
That's the thing though, Chibi Reviews is an anime Youtuber free speech advocate that has gone on record to defend even lolicon and shotacon content. So you would think Jersh would use this to his advantage to milk this for everything that it's worth. But this is the first time I've seen Kiwi Farms cave like this.
Jersh never did this with Keffals back in the day (as far as I know) so the fact that Jersh has shown weakness towards an anime Youtuber he looks down on; Chibi Reviews achieved what Keffals could not which is making Jersh blink first. I think this is the first time I've seen Jersh show genuine weakness like this. I got to hand it to Chibi Reviews because he's the first guy that managed to get under Jersh's skin like this.

I expected much as Jersh wants to project strength (although if Jersh was really strong then he would have never locked down the Chibi Reviews thread in the first place).
I want to emphasize that Chibi Reviews is an anime Youtuber free speech advocate that has gone on record to defend lolicon and shotacon; so the fact that Jersh blinked first means Chibi Reviews and his supporters are going to hold this over Kiwi Farms now.
Which is what is happening right now because Chibi Reviews is using this as an opportunity to show Jersh's dirty laundry by showing how Jersh admitted to viewing CSAM in those old IRC chats along with the Stocking shit back when Jersh was a Blockland player. Chibi Reviews is not holding anything back here. Now more normies are going to become aware of Jersh's vile past because he kept sperging out over Japanese content in these past few days.

Kiwi Farms and Soyjak literally do tha same tactics as the old "modern audience." The only thing that changes is who does the enforcing via harassment. They both see fanservice as bad and want it censored, but for different reasons. The old modern audience wanted it censored because of "muh wahmens" and "muh rape culture," but Soyjak/KF want things censored because "muh chillinz" and to "own the libs."
Becuase they both want to censor anime games, people sometimes compare Kiwi Farms to ResetERA.
The real counter-culture is Chibi Reviews, as much as I hate to say it. People like Chibi want to return to the old pre-MeToo norm of allowing sexual representations of anime characters with little scrutiny.

Jersh is not going to end up like Jim. It's clear Jim doesn't care about his reputation where he uses his platform to laugh at stupid people in general.

Seeing Jersh's poor health (he's in his early 30's and starting to show signs of having old people diseases), his family hates him, and Jersh has no family of his own; I do see Jersh becoming An Hero someday because unlike most of the lolcows he makes fun of, Jersh has nothing to live for other than Kiwi Farms (which has been bleeding dry because Jersh bans anyone that makes fun of him).

Maybe the TES thread is waiting for their NeoGAF moment. That Jersh does something so dumb that they lead a revolt to finally oust Jersh in favor of someone they like.
Although Jersh has put it on record that he would rather shut down Kiwi Farms permanently should he find himself not being able to host it anymore (so he'd burn the house down before he lets anyone have it).
