I still latch on to the idea that Lidl was some European girl who wanted to date him for a moment, spent enough time talking to him, and then gave up because he was too autistic to go for it. Kiwifarms isn't dead because lidl drip left, or because it was given preferential treatment. The site is dead because it's full to the brim of disingenuous, brain-dead shills who would rather argue and tardrage, rather than debate and learn.

And lidl was only the most famous user to that point. There were other users who received great hate from most of the site and were banned. One user even had Null's intervention because they made their profile private, leading to dozens of users chimping out and demanding no profiles be private anymore.

The Lidl retardation and genderwars is surely accelerating the site's demise, however and it's not giving Josh any favors. And the profiles becoming private, it suspiciously happened again around the time Lidl Drip was making the forum worse with her presence. According to Josh, something broke. But it's been quite some time now and still that hasn't fixed. It's safe for me to assume that nothing did break at all and this was on purpose.

I thought bringing back privatizing profiles was intentional and the thing that broke was lolcows/banned users being able to have their profiles as private when they should be public.

Site have had the "private account" option ever since its foundation, thing is that jewsh intentionally broke it so nobody would be able to hide what's the content of kiwi character. He "fixed" it only because people started to dig into lidl too deep, to a point that it started to resemble situation when null is being unironically anally RAPED. Because, again, kiwis were handy in connecting the dots then.
