Kiwi Farms going down from the feds or trannies would make Josh a free speech martyr (fairly or not, this is how most people would see it). Josh Moon should be able to use the internet to make a living. And saying you don't have a problem with the concept of the Kiwifarms under a different administrator does not excuse wanting to take Kiwifarms down.
I don't care whether they are not as bad as Josh Moon they should be held to higher standards. Like not supporting deplatforming Josh Moon and the Kiwifarms. This is the race to the bottom that I'm talking about.
In certain contexts he is sympathetic. Whatever I may feel about his history or who he is I don't feel bad at all about condemning Liz Fong-Jones and Keffal's efforts to take down Kiwifarms. There are many people who feel the same way, both on Kiwifarms and away from it. Is that "guntguarding" the Kiwifarms? Stop deflecting to his personal history to justify explicitly supporting a deplatforming and life ruination campaign against Josh Moon.
I'm not a part of the "quest for decency and justice". You're trying to pass off your own personal grievances and vendetta against Josh Moon as something that it is not. I don't have to support that.
His moderation decisions have changed and will continue to change in the future. It is possible that Josh Moon will pull his head out of his ass. It's more likely than another figure coming along and being the savior of the internet.

Reddit does not support free speech, and yet I would not support taking down reddit. Kiwifarms does not have to be consistent in it's support for free speech for me to oppose taking the site down. I don't think that it's the last bastion of free speech or anything like that. I am critical of many of his decisions and the community standards held by Kiwifarms. But this is not a justifiable reason for taking Kiwifarms down.
There are many people who are critical of Josh Moon that don't support what you are calling for. This is a motte-and-bailey. Believing that Josh Moon is a liability because of his behavior and actions is very different from wanting to remove his ability to make money or have a platform on the internet.
You don't care about those causes, you are calling for deplatforming and life ruination.

I don't think that he is the savior of the internet. What I'm saying is that this fantasy that if you get rid of him someone better will replace him is unlikely. Far more unlikely than him making changes. It doesn't have to be an ideal version of Kiwifarms.
