I actually do understand this point, I do feel like there’s a certain point where we have to understand it’s fictional, so there’s sometimes no objective answer to an age, and in that case… Does it even matter? As long as you’re not fapping to the fact that they look like a child, the thing about lolicons is they are indeed fapping to the fact that they look like a child. But if you wanna take Twitter drama like the whole “Is it pedophilic to fap to Pomni?” thing, that’s dumb cause the character is just a cartoon blob, of course she’s short and flat chested. And 90% of people thirsting after her redraw her to look more like a 25 year old woman, whom she canonically is.
Or take the whole tumblr “aging up” drama, where people will take canonically child characters and “age them up” to be adults in appearance and personality, for various reasons that can include porn. Some people said “It’s pedophilic cause they’re canonically children” as if they’re real people and not figments of imagination you can rewrite and twist however you want.
I understand the frustration, and I understand the paranoia, but there’s a certain point where you have to go outside and understand you’re fighting for the rights of actual hallucinations. Lolicon is bad cause someone who brags about fapping to childlike characters sounds dangerous, but when the answer is more ambiguous, imo the answer just dosent matter.
All in all I think people need to chill the fuck out when it comes to “ethical gooning”.
