Controversial social media commentator and online activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM), has reacted to viral rumours alleging he was banned from entering China following his fallout with content creator and businessman Ross Boss.

The rumours surfaced weeks after tensions escalated between the two men online, with accusations, counter-accusations, and allegations of fraud dominating social media conversations.

In a video shared on his social media platforms, VDM dismissed the reports as completely false, insisting that he remains free to travel internationally and continue his business activities without restrictions.

According to him, some individuals even allegedly forged embassy-related documents to make the claims appear authentic and believable to the public.

“I’m a businessman, I go anywhere I want to go. They said I can’t enter China again. Some even forged embassy documents to make their lie believable, saying the Chinese government has banned me. Me that promotes China and everything they do,” he said in the video.

VDM also appeared shocked by the allegations, noting that he has consistently promoted Chinese products and business opportunities through his content, particularly in the gadget and importation space.

The controversy is linked to his recent fallout with Ross Boss, a Nigerian content creator and businessman based in China. Their relationship reportedly deteriorated after VDM publicly expressed suspicions about Ross's business dealings, sparking heated exchanges online.

Over the past few months, supporters of both personalities have continued to debate the issue across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter), with several unverified claims circulating online regarding business fraud, loyalty, and personal betrayal.

Some social media users also alleged that Chinese authorities had restricted VDM’s entry into the country due to the controversy. However, no official statement from the Chinese government or embassy has confirmed such claims.

Despite the rumours, VDM maintained that he has no issues with China and remains actively involved in businesses connected to the country.

The situation has once again highlighted how celebrity feuds and online controversies in Nigeria often escalate quickly, with misinformation, edited documents, and fake reports spreading rapidly across social media platforms before being verified.

For now, neither Ross Boss nor Chinese authorities have officially responded to VDM’s latest comments regarding the alleged travel ban.
