Update for Christmas

We are going to stay with GoDaddy, after carefully considering all our options, this is our best choice. I’ve upgraded our account with GoDaddy. We went from 90GB of storage up to 150. We have 8GB of RAM and 4 CPUs. Security has been upgraded, we have maximum security against DDOS attacks, malware and so forth. In short, it is all but impossible for someone to launch a DOS attack against us. We will have automatic nightly backups. In case there is a problem with the backups, I will get in touch with tech support. I have plenty of room on external storage devices to download any backups.

Expenses: Our expenses have increased but they are not unreasonable. The hosting and security works out to about $120/month. There are other expenses involved that I will attribute to a learning curve, but I am figuring out a way to cut back on them.

GoDaddy taking down the forum: Some of you were concerned about GoDaddy kicking us off. I had a short conversation with someone from the GoDaddy help team a couple of days ago. As long was we adhere to their TOS we are fine.

Generating Revenue: In the future, we can start looking at selling promotional items with the Onionfarms logo. We are in good standing. No one has banned us and I want to try and keep it this way. Merry Christmas

So I'm guessing this affects how lolcow topics are created? Some of them (especially the female ones) tend to get naked for one reason or another. Is hiding them under the spoiler tags still ok or is it completely verboten? If yes, I need to edit the Brittany Venti one since she showed her tits at one point.

Don't post them even under spoiler tags. Link to them from a third party website. As for the ones already posted with spoiler tags, if you are not able to edit them, let me or one of the staff know and we will go back and edit them. I want to get in touch with support and find out more about this. Thanks
