Americas President Biden Hosts Flaming Hot Cheetos Movie

I am wondering if this is part of the DEI agenda

President Joe Biden and director Eva Longoria welcomed hundreds to the White House lawn Thursday to screen the new movie, "Flamin' Hot," a movie that describes the origins on how a Mexican American janitor (Richard Montañez) working at Frito-Lay convinced company officials to spice up the cheesy snack. However, Biden slid past the red-flags that Montañez's version raised some eyebrows.

Film direcctor Longoria said she was inspired to produce the film because people told her she could not do certain jobs in her film career because she was a women. Longoria said she worked hard to produce the film and have it totally inclusive. The First Lady Jill Biden mentioned the film is about everyone who has been overlooked or underestimated in a society that was not inclusive. However allegations published by the Los Angeles Times tell a different story (i.e. Montañez fabricated his role in the snack's creation. And Frito-Lay says he "was not involved.")

A White House official who spoke on condition of anonymity said the White House defended the film saying it was not a documentary and was shown to Americans of different backgrounds to see themselves in the film and celebrated by the President.

In the film, actor Jesse Garcia stars as Montañez, a one-time Frito-Lay floor-sweeper in southern California who persuaded his bosses to make a snack that celebrates the flavors of Mexico.

The Bidens and Longoria stressed what they said was the movie’s broader message of inclusion.

"Richard Montañez disrupted the food industry in the '90s by channeling his Mexican American heritage to help turn Flamin' Hot Cheetos into a multibillion-dollar brand today and a cultural phenomenon," Longoria said. "We are telling a story that celebrates the American entrepreneurial dream without sidestepping the fact that the dream isn’t available in the same way for everyone."

If you need to see yourself celebrated so much then you probably don't deserve to be. Excessive pride is a sin.
