So, my inspiration is revealed in the afterword, but I have described this as a soft-experimental fictional work (comprehensible, but it doesn't follow any known literary genre). This is NOT an erotica at all despite the narrator using the word "porn" over and over again; the word "porn" is a mask for the narrator's underlying ideology, to the point where one of my friends said it read like the manifesto of a schizophrenic. I thought that was kinda a funny way of putting it and he's exactly right.
The tone for Part 1 is darkly captivating and my goal for it was to write a villain protagonist who gets redeemed later on. I hope you guys give it a read, the pdf is free but you guys can also buy it off the Amazon page for it too if you'd like to support me. I have an idea for another "fictional manifesto" type of book, but I still need to build a good foundation for it first to develop it.
Thanks if you guys read it, I'd appreciate it.
