A lot of people in the cowsphere have a "hollowness" in their supposed area of expertise compared to a legitimate expert. I suspect this may be the case with a lot of cows who rattle off facts and stuff but don't really have the depth of understanding behind those facts despite claiming to be an "expert".

But then again this really does not apply to Frankie McDonald because it has pretty much been the case from the get-go that his "weather reports" are based on YouTube entertainment, not the in-depth meteorology that you would find from an committed weather buff. Having said this, he actually does hold a legitimate full time job as a maintenance person and has a pretty good sized fan following (been in the paper and on TV a few times). He's actually done pretty good despite his severe autism.
