United States News and Drama Florida governor next president?

I honestly think DeSantis could win, but he's going to get stomped by Trump at the debates. He just doesn't have it in him. Trump went from a joke candidate to the front runner during an early debate the second he said "They have to go back".

I feel like DeSantis is a plant, because his entire war with Disney is literally the most retarded shit I've seen and it's not going to stop Disney at all. It's only gonna backfire and negatively impact Florida's economy.

It feels like the Dems know a united Republican party under one candidate would absolutely ruin their chances at re-election because a strong sole candidate would motivate the moderates and independents to go right. DeSantis went from being pretty based during COVID to making erratic and questionable decisions the closer we get to the next presidential election.

If he somehow wins I don't think he's enough of a businessman to play the businessman hustle he's playing. It worked for Trump because that's his life. He's playing ball with the bureaucrats and losing the fight spectacularly because he isn't giving them any reasons to keep playing. If he does that with the US economy it'll be on par with Biden's shitty leadership.

If DeSantis runs with a good partner that can balance him out, maybe. But he's also the kind of guy that likes to do his own thing and doesn't play well with others. Dunno who an ideal running mate would be. Hawley maybe?

its his turn

exactly, Ron is like some Voltron of the shittest candidates of the 2016 primary. Him and the other weirdos are acting like people won't remember Trump's good times when he's back on the stage debating them. Trump loves the podium more than anything, to the point where he did a post-election tour of the country and even did tour stops even when there was no election to campaign for.

guarantee Ron won't last another 9 months.

The Disney thing is just a way to keep his name in the media. It's manufactured outrage.

Being real: DeSantis is really running for a vice president spot on Trump's ticket.
