I don’t think every difficult moment in marriage should be normalized. There’s a difference between normal disagreements and situations that become physically or emotionally harmful. Where do you personally draw that line?

I think the line is crossed the moment someone feels unsafe or constantly afraid in the relationship. Disagreements are normal, but abuse should never be.

"Chapter 4 Verse 34 which states, ‘As for those women on whose part you see ill-conduct, admonish them (first), next, refuse to share their beds, and (last) strike them "

ANd "lightly" is not in the original translation.
