Shenzhen prepares ban on eating cats and dogs after outbreak
« on: April 02, 2020, 11:14:07 AM »
Shenzhen is the first chinese city that will outlaw the consumption of cats and dogs. The new law will permit people to eat only certain kinds of meats: pork, chicken beef, rabbit, fish, seafood, lamb, donkey, ducks, geese, pigeon. This proposal was done following a decision by the central govenment to immediately ban the trade and consumption of wild animals. The scope of protected wildlife is also expanding. Wildlife organizations caught to be breeding for consumption will have their licenses reovked.

No I can't either. I've had fried alligator in Louisiana but you don't get attached to a reptile living in a swamp.
