We've seen what happened with Cloudflare where they threw Kiwi Farms under the bus to look good to their investors. This is not a defense for Cloudflare or for Big Tech in general (Big Tech sucks in a lot of ways) but let's be real here, Big Tech is going to care more about their brand image than defending some loser that has been shunned by most of the Internet at this point.

Maybe. Who knows if Null is actually honest about this, or if he can competently hide your IP address in case of a data breach. We all know that most/all ways of directly paying Null is giving him a way to still find out who you are and retaliate against you if he feels like. Hot take. This sounds like null is signalling that IP addresses and change logs are up for sale and there's fuck all you can do about it.
He's also saying he will ignore laws that specify that you have a right to request your data to be deleted, which it has to be unless there's a valid reason why the site owner has to keep your data.
Furthermore, IAW GDPR laws in the UK, Null has to keep IP data safe, secure and logged to the person paying, including keeping their payment details and addresses.
Anyone remember the honeypot of Ashley Madison? Where data was collected and then used to blackmail people unless they paid up? Yeah. Josh is trying to AM KF as an attempt to earn one last payday before the site crashes and burns.
Edit: Here's a scenario, let me know how believable people think it is

So despite Jersh being against Big Tech and their business practices, he may try to do what Big Tech does to make money and it's by selling personal data to the highest bidder (this includes selling data to the glowies because at the moment the glowies can still legally buy data like this for their law enforcement operations).
So if any of the Kiwis get an unusual amount of promotion mail for some timeshare offers in their mailbox or have unmarked vehicles observing their houses then we will know why.

It's like how Wikipedia every now and then fearmongers their users where every now and then Wikipedia runs a donation campaign telling their users to donate or else Wikipedia won't be free to use anymore despite Wikipedia being a non-profit that makes money through donations on the daily (and since Wikipedia is a non-profit, they don't pay any taxes and they rake in millions in money from people around the world so it seems weird for them to claim Wikipedia may go under if you don't donate during one of their infamous donation campaigns).
Jersh is doing the same thing here. He has paypigs giving him money every month which should be enough to keep things running and then he does stuff like this to squeeze out more money from his userbase.
It's the same playbook from Wikipedia where you fearmonger your users into donating with outlandish claims that Kiwi Farms could shut down at any minute unless you send your paycheck to Jersh to keep Kiwi Farms funded for the rest of the year (to which Jersh may start another donation campaign a few months later with the same fearmongering shut down claims due to the alleged lack of funds).
