You will never be a real bee. You have no stinger, you have no pollen basket, you have no hypopharyngeal gland. You are a fly twisted by mimicry and parallel evolution into a crude mockery of natureโs perfection.
All the โvalidationโ you get is two-faced and half-hearted. Behind your back entomologists mock you. Eusocial insects are disgusted and ashamed of you, other pollinators laugh at your ghoulish appearance behind closed doors.
Flowers are utterly repulsed by you. Thousands of years of evolution have allowed flowers to sniff out frauds with incredible efficiency. Even fake bees who โpassโ look uncanny and unnatural to a flower. Your wing structure is a dead giveaway. And even if you manage to get down to the stamen of a flower, heโll turn shrivel up and fall off the second he gets a whiff of your shrivelled, vestigial hind-wings.
