The IDF has approved operational plans for an offensive in Lebanon amid rising tensions with Hezbollah. IDF: "As part of the situational assessment, operational plans for an offensive in Lebanon were approved and validated, and decisions were taken on increasing the readiness of troops in the field." Hezbollah is deliberately preventing the Israeli government from accepting a ceasefire deal, they know Hezbollah will not stop bombing them even if they were to accept a ceasefire deal with Hamas, the bombs from the North would continue dropping:


"The signs we're getting from Herzbollah is that both sides are primed for an escalation", but we keep hearing about one ceasefire deal after another, because Israel has to be a sitting duck when Hezbollah starts raining bombs:
